I have seriously had the same complete Demolition front wheel for like two years now. It’s simple, lightweight and not overdone. This write-up of course has nothing to do with my front wheel, but I figured I’d throw that out there since the stuff is built to last. Anyways, new to the Demolition line are front hubs. Named for waifish child star Mary Kate Olson, the Mary Kate hub features a low flange aluminum hub shell, a hollow alloy 10 mm axle with steel stud bolts and a thread on 7075 aluminum hub guard. Weights are 265 grams without the guard, and 282 with. The MK hub features 36h lacing, two super smooth sealed bearings and tons of colors to choose from. Plus all that, this is the only BMX component that has ever indirectly referenced the ABC sitcom ‘Full House,’ and I think Bob Saget would approve…
